Question 1

How does the admission process work with Discovery Pathway?

Accepted Answer

It starts with a free consultation where we assess your academic background, budget, and goals, then recommend 2–3 realistic destination/university combinations. From there we handle test preparation, document collection, university application, and visa filing as one continuous process — you get a single point of contact throughout.

Question 2

What services does Discovery Pathway actually provide?

Accepted Answer

University and course selection, IELTS/PTE/language test preparation, document processing and admission form preparation, scholarship applications, visa filing and disclosure strategy, and pre-departure orientation. We manage the full journey, not just one stage of it.

Question 3

Which country is 'best' to study in?

Accepted Answer

There's no single best answer — it depends on your budget, academic profile, and long-term goals (PR pathway vs. lowest cost vs. fastest degree). Use our country comparison tool for a side-by-side view, or book a consultation and we'll recommend based on your specific situation.

Question 4

Is South Korea really the easiest visa to get?

Accepted Answer

Among our destinations, it currently has the highest approval rate we see for well-prepared Nepali applicants, largely due to strong IELTS-linked scholarship access and deep partner-university relationships — but 'easiest' still requires a genuine, complete application.

Question 5

I have a prior visa refusal. Can you still help me?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this is one of our core specialties. Prior refusals (Korea, Australia, or elsewhere) must be disclosed accurately in every future application; we build a specific disclosure and evidence strategy addressing the original refusal reason rather than hoping it goes unnoticed.

Question 6

What happens if my visa gets refused after I apply through you?

Accepted Answer

We review the refusal letter in detail, identify the specific grounds cited, and rebuild the application (or recommend a different destination) accordingly. Our 97.9% success rate reflects thorough preparation up front specifically to minimize this outcome.

Question 7

Can I get a scholarship with a low GPA?

Accepted Answer

Some scholarships are GPA-gated, but others — like Korea's IELTS-linked tuition waivers — weight language proficiency or entrance interviews more heavily than GPA. Use our cost calculator to see realistic tuition ranges, and we'll flag which scholarships you actually qualify for.

Question 8

How much money do I need to show for a student visa?

Accepted Answer

This varies significantly by country — from a Korean bank statement threshold to a UK 28-day funds rule to a German blocked account. Each destination page on this site lists the specific requirement, and we confirm the exact current figure during your consultation.

Question 9

Do you help arrange accommodation before I fly?

Accepted Answer

Yes — we connect students with verified on-campus housing or partner accommodation providers before departure, and cover practical pre-departure orientation including banking, local transport, and part-time work rules for your destination.

Question 10

Can I work part-time while studying?

Accepted Answer

Almost every destination we support allows part-time work with restrictions (hours per week, term-time vs. break). Exact limits are listed on each destination's page — Japan and Australia, for example, allow meaningfully more weekly hours than the USA's F-1 on-campus-only rule.

Question 11

How long does the whole process take, from consultation to departure?

Accepted Answer

Typically 4–8 months depending on destination and intake timing — Korea and Japan tend to run faster on visa processing, while Australia, Canada, and the USA often need longer lead times. See our Process page for a stage-by-stage timeline.

Question 12

Do you charge a consultation fee?

Accepted Answer

No — the initial consultation is free. Service fees apply only once you decide to proceed with application processing, and are explained transparently before you commit to anything.
